In #launchpad this week we ran across something nifty: Exaile migrated from Trac to Launchpad. Projects moving from other systems to Launchpad are quite commonplace these days. What I found interesting in this case was how easy it was. Adam Olsen explains.

This shows that we need to promote bug imports as a migration strategy more. The method given in that blog post is a lot more lossy than other migrations we’ve done.
